We are a proud member of the Stewards of the Land, LLC., a group of small family farms in Central Illinois that provide tasty chemical-free produce to local grocery stores and restaurants. |
|
Spence Farm is a small family farm enterprise with the three of us, (Marty, Kris and Will) and a few friends once in a while, growing and harvesting delicious foods in Central Illinois. We grow and harvest our own products so we can ensure the finest quality.
We grow all of our products free of chemicals, using the national organic ™ standard as a guide and then going one step further, to ensure that everything we provide is the freshest, safest, and healthiest for our family and yours.
We depend on sales of our produce and products to keep our farm and family alive. Thank you for supporting our farm and other small family farms!
Because we keep so busy (see also the websites for Spence Farm Foundation and Stewards of the Land), we are not able to attend farmer’s markets. Most of our products are sold directly to restaurants in the Chicago, Champaign and Bloomington/Normal areas. Here is a list of restaurants that support Spence Farm and other small local farms. Their food is delicious, try them all! |
|
Spence Farm is known for their wild harvested crops like nettles. |
